Abbey Road Music Photography Awards 2022

I was delighted and honoured to win the Live Music Photography category at the inaugural Abbey Road Studios Music Photography Awards.

The winning image is entitled 'Waiting for the Head', a capture of jazz drummer David Mrakpor in a thoughtful moment as he waits for a sax solo to finish and the cue for the main theme of the number to restart.

The judging panel was chaired by iconic photographer Rankin.
